Target Australia issued a recall on Aug. 4 for their $10 baby onesies or coveralls that were found to present a choking hazard due to a quality issue.
The coveralls included in the recall (PDF) are the $10 two-way zip coveralls that are sized between new baby to 12-18 months.
The quality defect was found in the coverall’s zip puller that was found at risk of breaking off, posing a potentially fatal choking hazard.
The coveralls were sold through Target Australia, Target Country, and also online during the period between February 2018 and June 2018.
Target recommends that customers who own the $10 coveralls to return it to their nearest store for a full refund.

“At Target Australia, the safety of our customers and their families is our highest priority,” a Target spokesperson told the Daily Mail. “This is why we’ve decided to conduct a voluntary recall of a specific range of baby coveralls due to a quality issue—this only applies to those coveralls purchased between 1 February 2018 and 13 June 2018.
“Any coveralls purchased after 13 June 2018 are not affected by this recall.”
