A UK court on Tuesday increased the sentence of a woman who caused and allowed the fatal abuse of her toddler daughter by her female partner.
Frankie Smith, 20, was given an eight-year sentence on Dec. 15, 2021, for causing or allowing the death of her 16-month-old daughter Star Hobson. Her partner, 28-year-old bouncer and security guard Savannah Brockhill, was found guilty of murder and handed a life sentence with a minimum prison term of 25 years.
