The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) announced all its members are on strike Sept. 25, coming just hours after Ottawa allowed Canada Post to end door-to-door delivery for around 4 million addresses and recommended various changes to service to resolve Canada Post’s “existential crisis.”

The union, which represents more than 55,000 members nationwide, made the announcement the afternoon of Sept. 25 on its website.
