Venezuelan opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Corina Machado said on March 1 that she will return to her country in the coming weeks.

Machado, 58, did not set a date for her return, but said in a video posted to X that one of the objectives is to prepare for “a new and resounding electoral victory.”
