Ontario’s Progressive Conservatives released an election platform on Feb. 24 containing $40 billion in promises, including a $5 billion Protect Ontario Account aimed at responding to U.S. tariffs.

The “Protect Ontario” platform, which was released three days before voters head to the polls, focuses heavily on PC Leader Doug Ford’s plan to address the impact of potential tariffs levied against Canada by U.S. President Donald Trump.
