A former auto mechanic has been sentenced to nearly two years of house arrest for causing a 2019 crash in Ontario that killed a 49-year-old mother, leaving her two sons with “significant permanent emotional and physical injuries.”
Mitchel Linton, 27 at the time of the crash, was found guilty of dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm, in a ruling by Justice Richard Schwarzl of the Ontario Court of Justice last November, released on April 27.
