Employers should be banned from using computers and artificial intelligence (AI) to spy on workers without their consent, MPs have recommended.

A new report (pdf) by the Commons Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) committee raises concerns over the remote monitoring of staff which it says puts people’s data at risk.
