Complaints about motor vehicle insurance have jumped by a third in the year to June 30, the Australian Financial Complaints Authority has revealed.

Stalled claims are a major issue, with shortages of both parts and labour pushing out repair times. As a result, motor insurance was Australia’s most complained-about financial product.
