Exercising for mental health and well-being has become the main motivating factor for Australians, with a study showing that weight loss is no longer the reason why Aussies are choosing to exercise.

In a study commissioned by sports giant ASICS, a little more than 1,000 Australians were asked about their motivations for exercise and whether this had shifted over the past five years.
