The Conservative Party of B.C. says John Rustad has been “removed” as party leader and an interim leader has been chosen.

A majority of party members “no longer has confidence” in Rustad and and considers him “professionally incapacitated” and thus unable to continue serving as party chief under the party constitution, according to a Dec. 3 statement from the party.
