Israel reached a ceasefire with the designated terrorist group Hezbollah on June 19, following an intense flare-up in fighting overnight in Lebanon, a U.S. official told The Epoch Times.

The U.S. official confirmed the parties agreed to the ceasefire following mediation efforts by Qatar and the United States. The official said the truce took effect at 4 p.m. local time.
