Calgary-Based Imperial Oil Announces It’s Cutting One-Fifth of Jobs by 2027

Imperial Oil says it will cut around 20 percent of its workforce by the end of 2027 in a major restructuring.

The company had 5,100 employees at the end of last year, according to regulatory filings, but has not yet said how the layoffs will impact the workforce at specific locations.
