3 Earthquakes Rattle Regional NSW in 9 Hours

Residents across NSW woke to an unsettling night as three separate earthquakes rippled through communities.

Residents across regional New South Wales (NSW) were shaken awake after three separate earthquakes struck within just nine hours, sending tremors from the state’s northwest through to the Mid North Coast.

The first quake hit just before 11 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the Orana region, about 500 kilometres northwest of Sydney.
