Cost-of-living pressures dominated Question Time on July 30, with the opposition grilling the government on energy prices, grocery bills, and bulk billing medical costs.

Federal Opposition Leader Sussan Ley said Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had said “seeing a GP is free” on 71 occasions, despite new data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare showing patients paid over $166 million in out-of-pocket expenses in May.
