A “white substance” was found at New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez’s office in Santa Fe on Monday. A second suspicious package was also found.

Employees for the office were processing incoming mail when they discovered a white “powdery” substance was discovered, reported KRQE-TV.

Authorities told the station that employees that were sorting envelope containing the substance were isolated, Spokesman Enrique Knell told The Associated Press. They then called the fire department.

The Department of Public Safety and State Homeland Security Departments are now responding, and the Santa Fe Fire Department Hazmat is currently investigating.

Officials did not elaborate on the contents of the second suspicious package that was found.

The Associated Press reported that the FBI has taken over the case.

Several weeks ago, ricin-tainted letters were sent to President Obama and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

An actress, Shannon Rogers Guess Richardson, was arrested for allegedly sending the letters.

Story is developing; check back for updates.
