Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy are one of the frontrunners on Dancing With the Stars, and danced as Romeo and Juliet on Monday night in week 8.
The theme was “Dynamic Duos.”
The dance style was contemporary.
In the video recap of rehearsals, Janel said that being Romeo brought out Val’s “sweet, romantic side.”
“Amazing, truly,” said Carrie Ann Inaba, one of the judges, after the dance.
“Tonight, you’ve shown me that you’re a great dancer,” judge Len Goodman said.
“There’s so many things that I want to say right now, and yet there’s only one thing I can truly say--breathtaking,” judge Julianne Hough added.
“When you dance like that, there was nobody else in this room ... that was for you two.”
Host Erin Andrews said that she had goosebumps from the performance.
“This is my favorite dance, I love contemporary ... it’s just the best way to express emotion,” said Janel after the dance.
They got 10s from all the judges for 40 out of 40 score.
