If you missed the Vendys and wish you hadn’t, catch some of the best street vendors from around the city on Friday, Sept. 20, at the Viva la Comida Festival in Jackson Heights, Queens.

Among the vendors are:
- Tortas Neza, a specialist of the Mexican sandwich, the torta.
- Arepa Lady Crew. The family continues in the tradition of the famed Arepa Lady.
- Chimi Express, an excellent new Dominican truck, inventors of the pizzaton.
- Lechonera la Piraña, maker of the Puerto Rican hero of pastellitos and roast pork (also known as lechon).
- Mysttik Masaala, Indian-Nepalese food.
- D'Angelo’s Sausage Truck, legends of Italian sausage.
- The Chipper Truck, the only Irish food truck in New York City.
- Bochinche, a popular Ecuadorian cart.

The festival will also feature music and dance performances, an interactive art fair, and a pop-up market.
