A video captured on the New York City subway shows a subway rider taking his shirt off.

With only a tanktop underneath, the rider then handed the shirt to a shirtless man who was shivering and apparently homeless.

The video was captured by Lazaro Nolasco, who posted the footage to Facebook.

It’s racked up more than 8 million views in just a few days.

The straphanger who gave his shirt was only identified as “Jay.” They were on a Brooklyn-bound A train traveling in Manhattan around 10 p.m. on Friday.

“It was just us on the train,” Nolasco told the Daily News. “The guy didn’t have a shirt on. His body looked sick.”

Jay also urged the homeless man to go to the hospital. The homeless man said, “yes.”

“The guy did a good deed, so I wanted to record it,” Nolasco added. “I would tell him, ‘God bless him.’ That was thoughtful.”
