Police are still searching for the attacker.
A fourth victim was also injured in the incident, Fox News reported.
Michael Eisenriegler, a resident who lives next to where the stabbing took place, said he saw flashing lights and went closer to see what happened.
“There were maybe … one or two dozen policemen (at the site of the attack.) And they are still there,” he told CNN. “(The road) is blocked. They are searching,” Eisenriegler said.
The attacker, whose identity is unknown at the time, fled the scene and headed to Praterstern station.
A major manhunt is now underway on the road where the attacks took place.
