Florida officials released video footage of a K-9 dog tracking down an alleged kidnapping suspect in Pasco County.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect “arrived at a residence and climbed up to the second-floor window and attempted to gain access to the residence.” Officials then “learned that this suspect had a no-contact order in place at the residence and that the residents were known to the suspect,” the office said.
The Bradenton Herald reported the suspect was identified as 24-year-old Kevin Wilson. A woman who lived in the home invited him inside, and after an argument, he grabbed the woman’s 6-month-old baby and ran down the stairs.

“You’ll never see her again,” he said, according to a police probable cause affidavit.

The woman’s uncle grabbed a gun and confronted him outside, and Wilson let the child go before leaving, according to the report.

The suspect fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle before running into a wooded area on foot.

“After tracking through the woods, Sgt. Ferguson and K-9 Titan came upon the individual running through the woods at which point K-9 Titan was deployed and apprehended the individual who was arrested,” said the office.

Deputies said the child suffered minor scratches in the incident, the Herald reported.

Wilson was charged with child neglect, interference with custody, and violation of pretrial release.
