Shortly after a bus driver on Long Island dropped the children off at school, his bus burst into flames, according to local fire officials on April 6.

The officials said the fire occurred around 7:40 a.m. in Merrick, Long Island, but the fire department was still on scene a half hour later.

Luckily the driver appears to have not been injured in the blaze, according to a spokesman for the fire department. The cause, however, is still under investigation.
