Valley View Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation administrator Laurence LaDue and his staff celebrated the upcoming 101st birthday of resident Frances Sylvester on Feb. 10. Sylvester turns 101 on Feb. 22. Valley View’s staff held a gathering for Sylvester and 35 other residents who have birthdays in February.
“We all enjoyed celebrating Frances’ birthday with her and wish her continued happiness and good health,” LaDue said. “I also would like to wish a happy birthday to all of the other Valley View residents who were celebrated today.”
Sylvester was born in Newburgh in 1915 and has lived at Valley View since December of last year. “I look forward to having the opportunity to meet Frances Sylvester later this month,” County Executive Steven Neuhaus said.
