A Texas official admitted on May 27 that it was the “wrong decision” for law enforcement to not have engaged the Uvalde school shooter sooner. This comes after the victims’ families demanded answers from law enforcement about why it took them up to one hour to engage the gunman. The National Rifle Association (NRA) has begun its annual convention in Houston Friday despite calls for them to cancel it.
