Biden Warns Attack on Israel by Iran Could Be ‘Sooner Than Later’

Israel has been on high alert for a possible attack from Iran, after Tehran threatened to launch a retaliatory strike.

WASHINGTON—President Joe Biden said on Friday that he expects Iran to attack Israel soon and urged Tehran not to proceed.

When asked if an attack on Israel was imminent, the president said he did not want to discuss classified information, but “my expectation is sooner than later.”
