The U.S. military launched another wave of strikes against Iran on Thursday, marking the sixth consecutive day of strikes against the regime.

In a social media post on Thursday afternoon, U.S. Central Command said that U.S. forces were carrying out a new wave of strikes against Iran to further degrade its military capabilities. U.S. Central Command said the strikes were launched at 2 p.m. ET.

Thursday’s strikes came as the United States has conducted multiple waves of strikes against Iran over the past week to combat Iran’s ability to threaten commercial stripping in the Strait of Hormuz.
