Unemployment Rate Dips Slightly in LA County in June

LOS ANGELES, Calif.—Los Angeles County’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dipped to 10.6 percent in June, down from a revised 10.7 percent in May, according to figures released today by the state Employment Development Department.

The 10.6 percent rate was below the 17.9 percent rate in June 2020, when COVID-19 shut-down orders were in effect.
