A U.S. judge in Texas ruled against President Donald Trump’s national emergency declaration in February that enabled funds to be directed toward building the southern border wall.
In a Friday ruling (pdf), Judge David Briones of the Western District of Texas granted a preliminary injunction in a lawsuit filed by El Paso County, Texas, and the Border Network for Human Rights, an immigrant rights group.
