Turning Point USA honored a Target retail worker who became the focus of a viral video earlier this month, presenting her with a check totaling more than $260,000 during the organization’s annual AmericaFest conference in Phoenix over the weekend.

Jeanie Beeman, 72, was brought on stage Saturday at AmericaFest, hosted by Turning Point USA, where conservative commentators Benny Johnson and Jack Posobiec introduced her to a cheering crowd. Organizers said the funds were raised through grassroots donations after a video circulated online showing Beeman calmly responding to verbal harassment while at work.
