Chase reportedly died Tuesday after meningitis and blood infections led to sepsis, causing her body to shut down.

Actress Daveigh Chase, best known for portraying Samara Morgan in the horror film “The Ring” and voicing Lilo in Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch,” died on June 16 at age 35.

News of Chase’s death came days after her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, launched a GoFundMe campaign seeking support for her medical care as she battled a series of serious health complications.
