Multiple social media companies, including Meta, Reddit, and YouTube, will face lawsuits alleging they enabled a shooter who killed 10 people at a grocery store in Buffalo in 2022, a New York state judge ruled on March 18.
The lawsuits were filed by family members of the victims and survivors of the shooting—nearly all African American—which was perpetrated by 18-year-old Payton Gendron, at a Tops Friendly Markets.
