2 California Scientists Receive Nobel Prize

Two California scientists jointly received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine on Oct. 4.

Ardem Patapoutian, a researcher from the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, San Diego, and David Julius, a researcher from the University of California–San Francisco, were both recognized with the prestigious prize for their scientific discoveries.
