Rep. John Duarte (R-Calif.) appears to have held off Democrat challenger Adam Gray in the November election to represent California’s 13th District.
Duarte received 51.3 percent of the vote, while Gray had 48.7 percent, according to unofficial preliminary results on Nov. 8. The contest was a rematch of a tight race between Duarte and Gray two years ago.
