Orange County Law Professor Defends Controversial Op-Ed

ORANGE, Calif.—A Chapman University Law School professor recently became the subject of nationwide controversy over an opinion piece he wrote for Newsweek magazine that questioned Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s U.S. citizenship.

Despite the backlash that has followed, Dr. John C. Eastman said, “I’ve been in the crosshairs for far too long to succumb to such pressure.”
