New Arizona Law Gives Parents More Oversight of School Library Book Collections

Arizona’s Governor Doug Ducey signed into law on April 29 a Republican bill that gives parents greater transparency and oversight of books and materials found in K-12 school libraries.
On April 25, the Arizona House voted 31 Republicans for and 26 Democrats against the passage of HB2439, with three Democrats not voting.
