Minnesota Man Convicted in Firebombing of Minneapolis Ice Cream Shop

Prosecutors said the defendant carried out multiple attacks using homemade incendiary devices.

A Minnesota man has been found guilty of arson and other charges related to an October 2025 attack on a Minnesota ice cream shop. 

Firomsa Ahmed Umar, 31, was convicted on all charges related to firebombing Fletcher’s Ice Cream & Cafe in Minneapolis, according to an April 9 press release.
