Miami Beach officials declared a state of emergency following a spate of spring break-related shootings.

The state of emergency and curfew will start on Thursday, announced Miami Beach City manager Alina T. Hudak on Monday. Mayor Dan Gelber made the official announcement outside Miami Beach City Hall.
