Paul Manafort and his business partner, Richard Gates, were indicted on Monday on a number of charges stemming from political consulting and lobbying work they did between 2006 and 2015.

The lobbying work predated Manafort’s work for the Trump campaign, which he joined in March 2016. The indictment does not contain any accusations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
