A lawsuit filed against Elon Musk and his political action committee (PAC) on May 8 accuses them of failing to pay registered voters in swing states for signing a petition in support of then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The legal challenge was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania by voters Anthony Maglietta, Steven Reid, and Jerry Victorious on behalf of “similarly situated” individuals who took part in the America PAC initiative. Maglietta, Reid, and Victorious reside in Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Georgia, respectively.
