House Education and Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) is calling on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to answer for what she described as the university’s failure to protect Jewish students and faculty in her committee’s probe into anti-Semitism on U.S. university campuses.
Ms. Foxx called on MIT President Sally Kornbluth and MIT Corporation Chair Mark Gorenberg in a letter dated March 8 to provide a range of records covering reports of anti-Semitic harassment on campus, as well as investigative and disciplinary actions taken in response to harassment claims.
