A growing coalition of House and Senate Republicans has united around a two-step legislative strategy aimed at advancing President-elect Donald Trump’s border security and tax policy agenda in the new Congress.
In a letter to incoming Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), a group of 29 GOP lawmakers outlined a two-step reconciliation process aimed at delivering swift passage of border security and tax policy to accomplish Trump’s campaign promises.
