ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y.—New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has announced that Garonit Pharmaceutical will build a $46 million manufacturing facility in New Windsor. The plant will be the largest producer of chlorhexidine in the world.

Garonit, a global antiseptic and health care product manufacturer, will be constructing a 200,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in New Windsor, next to Stewart International Airport. For reference, 200,000 square feet is about the size of the Middletown Walmart Supercenter.
