Fremont, California Named Best US City to Raise a Family; Irvine Ranked 3rd

The ranking compared more than 182 cities, including the 150 most populated U.S. cities and at least two of the most populous cities in each state.

Fremont, California, was ranked the best place to raise a family in the United States in a new ranking by WalletHub published May 26.

The San Francisco Bay Area suburb, located in the southernmost part of Alameda County, has a population of nearly 230,000 and a density of over 2,900 people per square mile, according to World Population Review.
