Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president in 2024.

Dorsey, who stepped down as the social media platform’s CEO in 2021, said that Kennedy was the Democrat candidate who could beat both Republican front runners Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump.

Kennedy, like Dorsey, is a strong advocate of cryptocurrency.

The nephew of a former president and the son of a presidential candidate, Kennedy has said he is the Democrats’ best chance at the White House in 2024 over the incumbent, President Joe Biden.

In a June 2 appearance on Fox News, the Democrat hopeful went after Trump and DeSantis and explained why he thought that neither were fit for the Oval Office.

Dorsey revealed his endorsement on June 4 when he shared a tweet with a video segment of the Fox News interview, titled “Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. argues he can beat Trump and DeSantis in 2024.”

The former Twitter boss shared the video with the added comment, “He can and will.”

One Twitter user replied, “Are you endorsing or just predicting?”

“Both,” Dorsey responded.

Another user commented that the Democratic National Committee would never allow Kennedy to become the nominee.

“True but they seem to be more irrelevant by the day,” Dorsey replied.

When another user said that “one politician isn’t going to fix this situation,” Dorsey replied with two words: “None will.”

Kennedy received the endorsement after he hit the campaign trail for the first time since launching his bid for president back in April.

Kennedy Behind in Polls

Kennedy is a well-known environmental activist, an outspoken vaccine critic, and an opponent of corporate collusion with the government. He has accused the CIA in the past of complicity in the deaths of both his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, and his father, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy.

The younger Kennedy has touted himself as a moderate Democrat alternative to Biden, saying he wishes to heal the partisan divide.

Twitter became involved in the 2024 race when DeSantis formally announced his presidential bid on Twitter Spaces on May 24, but the speech was disrupted by technical glitches.

Although Twitter’s new CEO Elon Musk restored Trump’s account last year after he was banned from the platform in 2021, Trump has so far decided to remain on his own social media app, Truth Social.

In a recent Fox News national poll about the 2024 Democrat presidential race, Kennedy stood at 16 percent support while Biden had 62 percent. However, Kennedy grabbed 20 percent support compared to the 80-year-old president at 60 percent in a CNN poll.

Both polls have indicated that Marianne Williamson, another entrant into the Democrat presidential race, is standing at 8 percent, Fox News reported.
