Democrats Make Statements After Vote to Move Impeachment Inquiry Forward

House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said that the impeachment process resolution passed on Thursday will enable open hearings and allow him to soon start releasing depositions from witnesses Congress has already heard from behind closed doors.

“This is a solemn day in the history of our country,” Schiff said.
