Cruz and McCarthy Blast Biden’s Actions on Immigration: ‘Encourages More Illegal Immigration’ and ‘Affront to Rule of Law’

Top Republicans have taken aim at President Joe Biden’s proposals on immigration reform, which includes proposed legislation and a flurry of executive orders.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said Biden’s actions “encourage illegal immigration at the expense of American jobs and workers” and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) called them an “affront to the rule of law.”
