California Attorney General Rob Bonta has filed a lawsuit against two companies and more than 100 individuals, accusing them of unlawfully distributing computer code used for 3D printing “ghost guns,” the attorney general’s office said in a Feb. 6 statement.

Ghost guns are untraceable firearms manufactured without valid serial numbers. The lawsuit, filed on Feb. 6 in the Superior Court of the State of California in San Francisco, targets Florida-based Gatalog Foundation Inc., which is the owner of TheGatalog.com, and CTRLPew LLC, the owner of CTRLPew.com. Individual defendants in the case include people associated with these companies.
