The Board of Trustees for California State University (CSU) system voted unanimously to remove SAT and ACT standardized tests from the undergraduate admission process, CSU announced on March 23.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CSU has temporarily suspended the use of standardized tests in its admission requirement for the 2021–22 and 2022–23 academic year. Prior to that, the school had an ongoing discussion related to the role of standardized tests in considering undergraduate admission eligibility.
