Board Funds Body Cameras for OC Sheriff’s Department

The Orange County Board of Supervisors decided at a Sept. 1 meeting to move forward with funding a body-worn camera program for the California county’s Sheriff’s Department.

The supervisors unanimously voted to informally adopt the funding in a preliminary budget that will be finalized on Sept. 15.
