Former President Joe Biden recently had surgery to eliminate skin cancer lesions, a spokesperson said on Sept. 4.

Kelly Scully, spokesperson for Biden, confirmed the former president’s surgery after an Inside Edition video showed him exiting a church in Delaware with a new scar on his forehead. Scully said Biden underwent Mohs surgery, which involves cutting away skin until all cancer cells are removed.
