Arizona Residents File Lawsuit Hoping to End Homeless ‘Humanitarian Crisis’

A group of Phoenix, Arizona residents is suing the city over what they believe are policies that enable crime and unsanitary conditions to proliferate in a massive urban homeless encampment known as “the Zone.”

Tempe-based lawyer Stephen Tully filed the 57-page civil action in Maricopa County Superior Court last week on behalf of the 19 plaintiffs.
